Using a series of blocks, dots, lines, numbers and various colors, each watch has its own system for telling time. Some of their watches even are made for a specific lifestyle. Tokyoflash's "Pimp" series of watches have a random animation of the LED lights on the watch that will play every 2 minutes between the hours of 6PM and 1AM ("Pimp time").

Looking at these watches can leave one a bit perplexed as to how time is actually to be determined. Don't worry, all watches come with a complete users manual that tells you how to read the watch you've just purchased. With This Ring: iRing Concept

Digital music truly in the palm of your hand...

A concept from artist Victor Soto, this digital ring would allow the wearer to interact with their iPod with Bluetooth connectivity. How would it work? Slide your finger back and forth on the ring to control the volume. Press the Apple icon to pause and play. Press either side of the apple icon to skip or reverse through your play list. There are buttons on the inner portion of the underside of the ring that would allow the user to toggle the hold function for the device. Conceptually the user would recharge the ring in the included USB powered docing station. This is still a full concept, and there has been no word as to if Apple developers are looking into the possibilities. At least it looks good.

Ricavision developers have created a portable device that functions like an electronic note pad. The MK140 FM Fridge Magnet will connect wirelessly to a Windows Vista PC. This 3.5" QVGA LCD display unit come with a stylus to enable it's user to write hand written notes on it much like a pda. The information can be transmitted to your PC or stored on the device. The products magnetic backing allows it to be attached to any metal surface.

Powered by an internal rechargeable battery, users will be able to do more that just keep notes. You will be able to listen to music and watch movies on your refrigerator. The Frige Magnet is powered by Microsoft SideShow technology that enables developers to create new and extend existing applications specifically for devices with small displays. Though this product is still in development, look for other this and other devices from Microsoft SideShow to be appearing in stores soon.

Aeon Flux: Nokia Aeon Concept

Information about this phone is scarce. So far all that's been able to be found is that this is a concept for a fully touch screen phone. It is made up of two individual touch screens that can function independently of one another, displaying items of your choice. The two screens are connected by the fuel cell. This concept must be close to fruition because in China it appears that there may already be an imitator so to speak. This could explain it's absence on the Nokia site. Soon as more information is found, expect to see an update. For now, enjoy the pictures.

Swatch Infinity Watch Concept...

There's more that just time displayed on this Swatch watch. Designer Pierre Merlet conceptualized the Infinity for Swatch. With it's synthetic leather band and magnetic closure, this concept watch will put your pictures, videos and music on your wrist.

The Swatch Infinity Watch will host a portable mp3 player, allow users to view videos and photos as well as record audio. There are rumors that it can also record video, however there has been no view of a visible camera in the concept photos. The face of this "watch" is removable allowing it to sync and recharge. After a visit to the Swatch website, there is no inforamation about this watch present, so it's still very much in the concept phase.
